Crystal Glass & Iron Wall Sconce

Crystal at wall height behaves differently from crystal on a ceiling. Because the fitting sits closer to eye level, the points of refracted light land on the wall right beside it, so the sparkle is something you see up close rather than a distant shimmer overhead.

The iron frame keeps the piece modern. Rather than the tiered brass of a traditional crystal fitting, the glass is held in a plain dark structure that lets the facets be the only ornamental element. That contrast is what stops it reading as a scaled-down chandelier.

It works as a pair either side of a bed or a fireplace, where the two sets of reflections meet in the middle of the wall, and it takes a standard screw-fit bulb so the character of the light is yours to choose. A clear bulb maximises the sparkle. This is a hard-wired fitting: isolate the circuit at the breaker panel before installation, and use a qualified electrician if you are not confident with house wiring.
