FlashMouse Playful Rotatable Wall Lamp

Most character lighting is aimed squarely at children and looks it. The FlashMouse takes the mouse silhouette and draws it simply enough that it reads as a graphic shape rather than a cartoon, which means it works in a child's room without being outgrown in two years.

It rotates on its mount, so the light can be aimed down at a book, out into the room, or up the wall for a soft glow at bedtime. That last setting is the useful one in a nursery: enough light to see by during a night visit, not enough to properly wake anyone.

Being wall-mounted keeps it off the bedside table, and it should be fitted out of a child's reach. Supervise young children around any wall-mounted fitting, and do not let a child hang or pull on the body. Six colors are offered. This is a hardwired fitting: isolate the circuit at the breaker panel before installation, mount it out of reach, and have a qualified electrician carry out the work if you are not confident with house wiring.
