Geometric Cube Semi-Flush Ceiling Light

An open cube frame uses the ceiling as a canvas. Light escaping between the struts throws the cube's own geometry outward, so the fitting draws a pattern of straight lines across the plaster around it that shifts depending on where you stand.

Because nothing is enclosed, the bulb is visible and becomes part of the design. A clear filament bulb gives crisp shadow lines and leans into the industrial reference; a frosted one softens the whole effect considerably. Choose a lower wattage to keep the shadow edges defined.

Semi-flush mounting keeps it close enough to the ceiling for ordinary head height while leaving room for light to escape upward. The frame is powder-coated metal, so knocks do not immediately show as pale edges. This is a hardwired fitting: isolate the circuit at the breaker panel before installation, and have a qualified electrician carry out the work if you are not confident with house wiring.
