Horus Anodised Aluminum Pendant Light

Italian lighting design has a particular discipline to it: the fitting is reduced until only the necessary geometry remains, and then that geometry is executed precisely enough that the precision itself becomes the decoration. The Horus belongs to that tradition.

Aluminium is the right material for it. It keeps a large pendant light enough to hang without special ceiling anchoring, and it takes a clean coloured finish that holds the crisp edges the shape depends on. It is offered in orange, black, white and red.

The proportions are drawn for larger spaces: over a long dining table or an open-plan island, where a smaller fitting would look lost. Three diameters are available - 35 cm, 45 cm and 60 cm. The interior is finished to direct light downward efficiently, so the piece works as a genuine task light and not only as a statement. It is a hardwired fitting - isolate the circuit at the breaker panel first, and have a qualified electrician confirm the fixture's rated voltage before wiring it in.
