TriBlocker Waterproof Triangle Shade Sail

A triangular sail is easier to install well than a rectangle because three fixing points always define a flat plane. That means it tensions properly without twisting, and you can usually find three suitable anchors on a house wall, a fence post and a tree where four would be impossible.

The fabric blocks direct sun and sheds rain rather than pooling it, provided it is tensioned with enough fall for water to run off. Used over a patio table or a play area it makes the space usable through the middle of the day rather than only at either end of it.

Shade reduces UV exposure but does not eliminate it: reflected and scattered UV still reaches skin underneath, so continue to use sun protection. Tension it firmly with a definite slope, and take it down in high winds and over winter. A tensioned sail exerts substantial force on its anchors, so fix into sound masonry or properly set posts, never into fence panels or gutters.
