Drelis Scandinavian Wooden Wall Lamp

The Drelis is a wall light that gets almost everything out of the way. There is a shaped body, a concealed LED inside it, and a light aperture. No bracket, no visible screws, no shade to dust, nothing that identifies it with a particular design year.

Concealing the source is what makes it comfortable rather than merely tidy. Light emerges as a soft band rather than a point, so it can be mounted at eye level in a hallway without dazzling anyone walking past, and left on late in a bedroom without being intrusive.

The finish does the rest of the work. It is offered in four painted colours - white, pink, grey and green - each available in warm white or cold white output, so it can be matched to a wall rather than contrasted against it. It is a hardwired fitting - isolate the circuit at the breaker panel first, and have a qualified electrician confirm the fixture's rated voltage before wiring it in.
