Modern 2-Light Flush Mount Ceiling Lamp

A chandelier needs headroom that most modern rooms simply do not have. This fitting gets to the same idea from a different angle: two lamps held on a slim frame, mounted close to the ceiling, with shades that give the piece the warmth and glint people actually want from a chandelier.

Two light sources rather than one makes a practical difference. The output is spread across a wider area, so shadows are softer and a rectangular room is lit more evenly than a single central fitting manages. In a bedroom that means fewer dark corners; over a small dining table it means the whole surface is lit rather than the middle of it.

Three colourways are offered - all black, black with gold shades, and white with gold shades - and each is available with a round or a square tube frame. All are deliberately restrained rather than showy. It takes standard screw-fit bulbs, which lets you tune the warmth yourself. It is a hardwired fitting - isolate the circuit at the breaker panel first, and have a qualified electrician confirm the fixture's rated voltage before wiring it in.
