Exterior lighting usually arrives in one of two registers: coach lantern or floodlight. This is neither. A plain aluminum body with concealed LEDs gives a modern elevation something that reads as part of the architecture rather than as a fitting attached to it.

Minimal form is also practical. There are no glazed panels to fill with insects, no decorative recesses to hold water and dirt, and no exposed lampholder. Aluminum also sheds heat well and does not rust when the finish is eventually chipped, unlike coated steel.

Weather rating: we do not publish an IP rating for this fitting, because we do not hold verified rating documentation for it. Do not install it in an exposed position, in direct rain, or anywhere it can be hit by sprinklers or standing water. A fully sheltered, covered position only. It is a hardwired fitting - isolate the circuit at the breaker panel first, and have a qualified electrician confirm the fixture's rated voltage before wiring it in. Exterior electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician using exterior-rated cable and glands.
