Modern Wooden Minimalist LED Wall Lamp

Wood is a rarer material for a wall light than metal and a more forgiving one. It warms the light reflected off it, picks up the tones already present in a room's floor and furniture, and does not show fingerprints the way brushed metal does at hand height.

The LED is concealed within the wood-finish body and emits through a diffused aperture, so there is no bulb to see and no bright point at any viewing height. Off, the fitting reads as a shaped piece of wood fixed thoughtfully to the wall rather than as hardware.

The output is soft and ambient rather than directional, which makes it a companion to a reading lamp rather than a replacement for one. Two lengths are offered - 35 cm and 45 cm, both 8 cm square - each with a warm or cold white output. There is one finish. It is a hardwired fitting - isolate the circuit at the breaker panel first, and have a qualified electrician confirm the fixture's rated voltage before wiring it in.
