Pastel finishes and adjustable hardware do not usually appear on the same fitting. Most adjustable lights are black, chrome or brass, which suits a workshop and rarely suits a bedroom. This one keeps the movement and drops the industrial palette entirely.

The shade tilts and the arm turns, so the beam can be pointed down at a book, out into the room, or up the wall for indirect light. That range means one fitting covers reading and ambience, which matters most in a small bedroom where a second lamp would be one object too many.

The soft color is what makes it work in a room styled around calm rather than contrast. Five tones are offered - pink, yellow, grey, blue and green - so a pair either side of a bed can match or deliberately differ. The body stays close to the wall between adjustments. This is a hardwired fitting: isolate the circuit at the breaker panel before installation, and have a qualified electrician carry out the work if you are not confident with house wiring.
