Orbis Modern Nordic LED Wall Light

The Orbis reduces a wall light to a disc. The LED is concealed behind the face, so what appears on the wall is a lit circle with no visible source, no bulb shadow and no hardware, which is about as simple as a fitting can be without becoming a hole in the plaster.

Simple shapes are the ones that survive redecoration. A circle carries no reference to a particular decade, so the fitting will still make sense when the wall color, the furniture and the fashion have all moved on. That is a reasonable thing to want from something that is wired into the building.

The output is soft and ambient rather than directional, which makes it a companion light: it takes the harshness out of a hallway or a stairwell and works alongside a reading lamp rather than replacing one. It is offered in a Left and a Right version - confirm which orientation suits your position before ordering, and order one of each if you want a matched pair. This is a hardwired fitting: isolate the circuit at the breaker panel before installation, and have a qualified electrician carry out the work if you are not confident with house wiring.
