Scandinavian Mount Nordic Wall Light

This is a wall light built on the principle that a fitting should look finished rather than fitted. The mount and the body read as one continuous form, with no separate backplate ring and no visible fixings, so it sits on the wall as though it grew there rather than being screwed on.

Achieving that means the wiring and the mounting hardware are hidden inside the body, which also keeps the profile slim. In a hallway or beside a bed, slim matters: anything that stands proud of the wall eventually gets caught by a shoulder, a bag or a duvet.

The light is soft and diffused rather than directional, suited to ambient use alongside a reading lamp rather than as a task light in its own right. Two finishes are offered, black and white. This is an indoor fitting with no weather rating. It is a hardwired fitting - isolate the circuit at the breaker panel first, and have a qualified electrician confirm the fixture's rated voltage before wiring it in.
