GardenGlow Outdoor Ground Path Light

A ground light does something a stake light cannot: it disappears. Set flush into decking, a path or a border, there is nothing standing up to be mown around, tripped over or knocked out of alignment, and in daylight the surface reads as uninterrupted.

Because the beam travels upward, it lights what is above it rather than the ground itself. Set along a wall it draws vertical washes; set beneath planting it throws leaf shadows; set along the edge of a path it marks the route without the runway effect a row of stake lights produces. Three lengths are offered - 30, 40 and 60 cm.

No certified IP rating and no load rating are supplied for this fitting, so do not install it anywhere it will be walked on or driven over, and do not treat it as a drive-over unit. Set it into a properly drained bed rather than somewhere water will pool over it, and have your electrician confirm it is suitable for the position before it goes in. This is a hard-wired outdoor fitting: isolate the circuit first, use exterior-rated cable and glands, and have a qualified electrician carry out the installation.
