Waterproof Breathable Pet Cooling Mat

Dogs and cats shed heat mainly through panting and through contact with cool surfaces, which is why a pet abandons a bed for the kitchen tiles as soon as summer arrives. A cooling mat gives them that cool surface somewhere they actually want to lie down.

The gel inside activates under the animal's own weight, absorbing body heat on contact and releasing it back to the air once they move off. Nothing needs plugging in, filling with water or putting in the freezer, and the waterproof outer means accidents and muddy paws wipe off rather than soaking in.

Use it in a crate, a car boot, under a garden table or on top of an existing bed. It helps, but it is not a treatment for overheating: shade, fresh water and avoiding walks in the hottest part of the day matter far more.
