Half-Moon Wooden Silent Wall Clock

Almost every wall clock is a full circle, which is exactly why a half-moon reads as a decision. Cutting the face to a semicircle changes the object from a functional disc into a shape, and it sits differently on a wall: it works above a doorway, on a narrow section of wall, or over a shelf where a full circle would be too tall.

Timber is what keeps it warm rather than graphic. The grain runs across the face and the finish is matte, so it holds its own against a painted wall without needing a frame or a border to define it.

The markings are pared back to slim hands and minimal indices, which is what keeps an unconventional clock readable at distance. The movement is silent, so there is no ticking to notice in a quiet room, and it runs on a single standard battery from a keyhole fixing on the reverse. Three sizes are offered.
