Hasna SunRay Metallic Wall Lamp

The sunburst is one of the oldest decorative motifs there is, and it survives because it does something useful on a blank wall: the radiating rays draw the eye outward from a center, which makes a single object feel like it occupies far more space than it physically does.

The Hasna executes it in metal with a warm metallic finish, so the rays catch daylight along their edges during the day and glow at their inner ends once the concealed light behind the center is switched on. The effect changes completely between afternoon and evening.

Used above a sideboard, over a fireplace or at the end of a hallway, it functions as artwork that also happens to light the wall. The output is ambient rather than directional; this is a feature piece, not a reading light. This is a hard-wired fitting: isolate the circuit at the breaker panel before installation, and have a qualified electrician carry out the work if you are not confident with house wiring.
