Nordic DualGlow Two-Sided LED Wall Lamp

A sconce that lights in one direction leaves half the wall in shadow. The DualGlow emits from both ends of its slim body, so light travels up the wall and down it at the same time, and the surface behind the fitting becomes part of the lighting rather than a dark backdrop to it.

That symmetry is what makes it useful on a staircase or in a long hallway. A row of them creates an even rhythm of light without dark gaps between fittings, and because the source is hidden at both ends there is no glare at eye level as you walk past. In a bedroom, the upward wash is soft enough to leave on late.

The body is slim and flat against the wall, which matters in a corridor where anything protruding gets caught by shoulders and bags. The LED modules are integrated and energy efficient, drawing a small fraction of what an equivalent halogen fitting would. This is a hard-wired fitting: isolate the circuit at the breaker panel before installation, and have a qualified electrician carry out the work if you are not confident with house wiring.
