The shade is formed into a soft petal profile rather than a hemisphere, which catches light unevenly along its curves and gives the fitting some shape even when it is switched off. Glass and iron in combination keep it feeling substantial at a small size, and the color options let it either match the walls or deliberately contrast.

Switched on, the glass diffuses the source into a gentle overall glow, bright enough to light a corridor or a small bedroom without being harsh in a space you pass through at night. It mounts close to the ceiling. This is a hard-wired fitting: isolate the circuit at the breaker panel before installation, and have a qualified electrician carry out the work if you are not confident with house wiring.
