The LED is integrated and recessed within the shade, so the source sits above eye level even when the pendant is hung low. That is the single most important thing for a dining light: people sitting opposite each other should see each other, not a bulb. The output is warm and lands evenly on the table below.

It works alone over a round table or repeated along a kitchen island, and because the silhouette is quiet, three of them in a row look like a considered decision rather than a row of lamps. Drop length is adjustable at installation. This is a hard-wired fitting: isolate the circuit at the breaker panel first, and have a qualified electrician fit it if you are not confident with house wiring.
