Diatomite Stone Sink & Faucet Drying Mat

The area behind a tap is permanently wet in most kitchens, and a cloth left there just stays damp and starts to smell. Diatomite works differently: the stone is naturally porous, so it draws water in and lets it evaporate away, drying itself out between uses rather than holding moisture.

That makes it genuinely low maintenance. Splashes disappear into the surface within seconds, the mat is dry again shortly afterwards, and there is no cloth to wring out, launder or replace every few weeks. Over time the surface can become less absorbent as soap residue builds up. Restore it by rubbing lightly with fine sandpaper, which exposes fresh material underneath.
